On May 16, the Emmett School Board will be asking the residents of Gem County to decide on a replacement to our current maintenance and operations levy. As this is a replacement, it will not increase our taxes.
The levy is for the same amount as our current levy, $1,400,000 for 2 years; a total of $2,800,000. The goals for this levy are:
1. Provide for appropriate staffing to maintain reasonable class sizes and provide needed services.
2. Provide safe and well maintained facilities for learning.
3. Fully implement a blended learning model and provide quality curriculum materials.
Our school calendars have been revised to reflect the make-up snow day. All 2016/17 calendars have been replaced with the following:

The District uses Infinite Campus. Parents are able to view grades, attendance, student schedules, etc. Only one login is necessary to view all your children.
Your student(s) school office will be able to give you your login information.
Please complete an enrollment form, provide a certified birth certificate, current record of immunizations, and proof of residence. The enrollment form may be picked up from the school or downloaded from our website. The enrollment form must be submitted to the school in your residential zone.
To request your child attend a school outside of your residential zone, please complete our Open Enrollment Form. The form may be picked up or requested from the District Office or downloaded from our website. The completed form must be submitted to the Emmett School District Office for approval.
Our District is separated into school zones.
Each elementary school has it's own residential area. You may enter your address in our Google Boundary Map to find your zone or contact the Transportation Department at 208-365-3207. Please note Shadow Butte and Sweet are K-5th and Kenneth J Carberry is K-4th.
We have one Middle school, 5th through 8th grades, and two high schools. Emmett High School is 9th through 12th. Black Canyon High School is our alternative high school.
